LFC Hosting is dedicated to providing a reliable, fast, and efficient web hosting service to our customers. Ensuring your web site is always accessible, exceeding industry standards, is the basis for our performance guarantee.
LFC's guarantee based on the criteria below comes in the form of a credit. LFC's guarantee is valid in the event of a network outage as defined:
1. Due to a cause within LFC Hosting's Operations Department including but not limited to software and/or hardware failure and/or disruption AND
2. Exceeds 60 consecutive minutes.
Eligible customers may request one rebate of one full week of credit for Web Hosting services, equal to that of their current Web Hosting package, in the event they experience an outage of the type mentioned above. This offer is limited to once a calendar month. Please read below for complete details.
*Failure of client-specific hardware, not belonging to LFC, does not apply.
Definitions:
LFC Hosting Network -
The LFC Network does NOT include:
- equipment not provided by LFC. Co-located servers provided by LFC are not covered by this guarantee. A hardware failure of a co-located server is the responsibility of the owner of the co-located machine, thus the client.
- any networks or network equipment not owned or controlled by LFC.
60 consecutive minutes - an unbroken sequence of 60 minutes of network outage.
One rebate - a network outage of 60 consecutive minutes or longer entitles the eligible customer to one full week of credit of Web Hosting Services based on the customers current Web Hosting Package.
Eligible customer - any current paying customer of LFC web hosting services. In addition, an account must be up to date on all payments and in compliance with all of LFC's policies.
Network outage - an outage causing the customer to be unable to connect to his/her web site, with the exception of:
- planned outages
- partial outages of less than 60 contiguous minutes
- or degradation of service due to high packet loss or similar conditions which may be indicative of the Internet as a whole
A network outage does not in any manner include the specific customer's server hardware failure or ISP outage.
One full week credit - a credit of seven (7) days based on a thirty (30) day billing period, of the Web Hosting service fees at the customer's current monthly rate, exclusive of services such as but not limited to labor or taxes.
