The Main Library is at 400 Cathedral Street. (See map under Images.)

From the Poe Grave: Go north on Paca or Martin Luther King Boulevard to Mulberry Street. Turn right on Mulberry, which is one-way, heading east. Pass over Eutaw and turn left on Park Avenue, heading north. Pass over Franklin and turn right on Centre Street. Go one block and turn right on Cathedral Street, which is one-way, heading South. Go one block and the Enoch Pratt Free Library is immediately on the right, on the West side of Cathedral, occupying the block between Franklin and Mulberry Streets. As an alternative, one may continue on Mulberry to Charles Street, turn left on Charles, then left again on Franklin, heading towards Cathedral Street. A left on Cathedral will also bring you in front of the library.

From the Inner Harbor, south of town: Take Charles Street (one way) north to Franklin Street. Turn left on Franklin, heading towards Cathedral. Turn left on Cathedral Street and the Enoch Pratt Free Library is immediately on the right, on the West side of Cathedral, occupying the block between Franklin and Mulberry Streets.

Parking: Some metered parking is available on the street. There is an open lot behind the library, at the corner of Park Avenue and Franklin Street (payment required). A much larger parking garage is off Franklin Street, north of Cathedral (payment required).

Note: Use caution when parking in an urban environment. Common sense dictates that you lock your car and keep any valuables out of sight.
