NO PST outside of Saskatchewan

KnifeZone does NOT collect Canadian Provincial Sales Tax (PST) from anyone who resides outside of Saskatchewan on purchases shipped outside of Saskatchewan Canada.

If you reside in Quebec, Manitoba or anywhere else that has a provincial sales tax (PST), other than Saskatchewan, you won't be charged PST at KnifeZone.

How does this work ?

As a Saskatchewan company we ARE required by law to collect PST on purchases in Saskatchewan.

However, as a Saskatchewan company we are NOT required by law to collect PST on purchases outside of Saskatchewan by non-Saskatchewan residents. Therefore, most Canadians won't have to pay us PST.

Unfortunately, we do have to collect GST or HST where applicable.

The Maritimes (ON, BC, NS, NB & NL) have an agreement with the Federal Gov't of Canada to collect both the GST and PST for those provinces under the HST (harmonized sales tax). This means that since the Federal Gov't collects this HST and disperses the appropriate money to those Provincial Government, we are required to collect this HST by law.

As always countries outside of Canada are exempt from ALL Canadian taxes.
