The Helle company builds knives that are a work of are and craft reflecting the robust, rugger and beautiful qualities of nature. With close cooperation between their skilled craftsmen and acknowledged designers, Helle uses only first-class materials for their knives.

The BraKar is fairly new. The composite handle (made of walnut, curly birch and leather spacers) is similar to the Harding, and is shaped to provide a slight guard. The triple laminated stainless drop point blade is 5". The knife is about 9 3/4" overall. This is a large knife for Scandinavia, and would be useful for butchering as well as general camp chores.

The BraKar knife from Helle comes complete with a black leather belt sheath.
